DD says JMU’s incoming SAT has gone up 90 points between 2016 and 2018 ....

JMU defers a lot in the EA round and then ultimately accepts them in the regular round. It’s still where the bottom half from our HS go.

Still waiting on Clemson, UMD, UConn, Miami and VT.

Why did you apply to 17 schools?!? It seems like overkill.

First, I didn't our DD did. Second, because she was unsure if she would get into any. Third, why do you care ? Mind your own business.

Great list! Congrats. I think this perfectly describes the reality of college admissions. There is a huge tizzy about a small # of schools. Students can get an excellent education at a range colleges and success in life is about so much more.
