Born and raised in west Texas - it’s a way of life to have a truck. Something would be missing without it - even inside the beltway in NOVA. (And no, I’m not a Trumper - contrary to popular opinion, not everyone from Texas is a gun toting republican.)

I drive my husband's truck because it's high up and I can see in people's cars. LOL. Not true but just a little. I really do like driving it though. I rarely drive my car.

My husband drives a double cab for work, The company pays for gas, insurance, maintenance and lets him use it outside of work. I love free and honestly the way people drive around here I'd rather they crash the company vehicle than mine.

We live in a very nice neighborhood. Every house has a truck in the driveway. Most are brand new. Us smelly ignorant trashy Walmarters love our trucks.

I drive a large SUV, and my children are grown. My husband also drives an SUV. We have many reasons for choosing them, none of which is because we are insecure.
