So we have a strong HOA. No vans, no trucks. Park it in the common lot or your driveway and towed away it goes.
Now you can park on the county road. But in the common lot, bye bye truck.

So anyone not driving a prius or a civic is having a mid life crisis and trying to feel cool? You folks say the same thing about men who drive SUV's BMW's, Mercede's , Jeeps etc.
No not just a mid-life crises but anyone driving more car than they need is insecure about something.
HAHAHAHAHA
I drive a large SUV, and my children are grown. My husband also drives an SUV. We have many reasons for choosing them, none of which is because we are insecure.
What are your reasons?
None of your business.
So you are insecure about your reasons.

My husband is a white collar guy through and through, but we bought a house and he spends weekends hauling mulch, picking up Craigslist finds, hauling lumber for projects, renting tools... He has an SUV but wants a truck for projects like this which are never ending.

To the seatbelt question, my truck has the front jump seat and there is a seatbelt. More likely that your son just couldn’t locate it.
