The point is simple, don’t ask for something you are unwilling to provide yourself. Now if it isn’t a big deal then you should have no problem posting links to your clubs games.
The difference is the previous poster above does not seem to be claiming his club changed its style so quickly like you are. American coaches know how to train athletes. Kickball is based on athleticism (speed and strength), therefore it's easier for Americans to coach, especially in the short-term. Coaching possession is harder and requires a long-term commitment that may not pay dividends immediately. No club, certainly not Arlington, just flips a switch and its coaches now coach, and its players now play, possession soccer.
All I know is Arlington DA started with Ken Krieger and Grant Smith - 2 typical traditional American style coaches. Clear it. Get it wide. Cross it.
Now the DA has coaches like Oscar Felieu, Candace Chapman, Marcelo Sarvas, Nikki Wright, Mo Tayari, and Gerardo Ramirez. None of whom were born or raised in America BTW. "Flipping a switch"? Yeah, I'd say so.
Do I think that reflects the club as a whole? He'll no. But at least at the DA level, I have to give them credit.

Thanks for posting this video. However, to be fair, this team and the coach came from another club and several players are playing for DCU academy now. I have nothing but respect for this coach and the boys, but given their history they might not be the best example to demonstrate the point. I think there was a game of Arlington U14 girls on the same webpage for those who wonder about Arlington girls style of play.

Impossible, just like the person who said they'd seen Arlington GDA play last year.
Arlington GDA only has U14 and U15 age groups. There is no U13 GDA team.
FWIW, I have heard that the U14s do play out of the back, through the midfield, and generally try to play a posession style, but I have not seen it myself.
This person is an imposter and has been why the board is messed up. Whether teams there still play kick-and-run like the past or not, you clearly don't know anything about Arlington or DA.
I had forgotten about the U13 pilot program. I wonder why none of the U13 teams show up on any of the team pages on the DA website.

It looks like the Arlington U13 DA team is in fact doing very well, with a 5-1-2 record so far.
Gerardo Ramirez is a good coach. I remember him from D-ODP. The program as a whole was a waste but he was one of the bright spots. I have never seen him coach a full team, but based on the way he coached at those sessions, it would surprise me if he did not coach a possession style. He definitely did not strike me as a kick-and-run coach.
So, good for Arlington.
