They are 11, don't need to spend more money when they have a strong spring ECNL schedule...

So niave and uneducated to believe that just because a team plays in ECNL that its good team with good players.

Same goes for the DA

Comical. That’s why every team that matters will be there?

Every team that matters? Like McLean? They just beat McLean 6-0. Why waste the parents and kids’ time when they can practice all weekend and Beat McLean next time 12-0. Ha ha ha ha!!!!! That’s more fun!

So beating a team that loses every game is an accomplishment now? I guess you will consider winning the MSI tournament against nobody one as well.

Has it helped their development? Absolutely, they're playing significantly better teams than do over the course of the ECNL regular season.
Has it changed their lives? As much as a soccer game can, but I'm betting its put some on the radar of Mid-Atlantic college coaches over the past couple of years.

Beating McLean 2006 is not much of an accomplishment. Everyone beats that team

2006 girls are all 12 going on 13. They are most likely in middle school. It's time to play at top tournaments unless you think you are not going to perform well and hurt possibility of recruiting new players.

The top teams play in the top tournaments, at every age group basically starting U11. They didn't participate in jeff cup last year as well so not sure why anyone is shocked.
