So every now and then, a human hand grenade needs to be thrown into their cozy little cabal. And Ficker is that hand grenade. And I hope he blows the walls out.
It’s true. The county is a mess- we had a chance to put in someone good and all we have are two back slapping spending without thinking bankrupting our hard working citizens to flatter developers and CASA friends sloths to choose from. It’s pathetic.
Oh, I forgot ‘the people of Potomac’. Floreen and Elrich are here to ‘keep development, no matter how useful’ (ie: schools) out of Potomac! Yeah, exciting!!! Carrots for the uber rich while milking the middle class dry and paving over their neighborhoods!!!
Floreen is doing this, not Elrich.
Again, the council sucks, but Elrich was always the 1 in the 8 to 1 vote.

They aren't exactly aligned politically, but I feel like we're falling down the rabbit hole again and into a parallel universe.
Elrich isn't perfect, but he's a far better choice than Ficker. Just hoping Floreen won't be the Ralph Nader of 2018.

There's at least a dozen "Robin" signs on a half mile stretch of Connecticut Ave in Kensington. It's pretty shocking, given what a heavily democrat area that tends to be.

I'm unaffiliated and didn't get to vote for the primary. Had I switched my registration on time (urgh) I would have voted Blair... (ok, maybe Rose, but in retrospect Blair). I hear you. I’m a Dem- liked Rose the best but voted for Blair because I got the feeling it was a two man race. I don’t really like our choices either. Elrich may be saying all the right words right now but based on his track record I’m skeptical.
