When I was very little I called it a sliding board in WV, with parents from PA. I am 44. Changed to slide at some point. My WV peers all called it a slicky-slide, but even at age 5 that struck me as moronic.

Called them slides. Have never heard another term for them. 45 years old. Grew up in the Tidewater area of Virginia.

Growing up in NE PA called them sliding boards. Been in DC for 20 years. We call them just "slides" now. I wonder when I switched? I really never realized I switched but I did. Oh well. I'm 45 from VA now.
