You literally have a beautiful beach with warm weather ( slight chilly NE breeze), and the view of pastoral estates in the background. No trashy people to be found ANYWHERE.
Thanks for the tip. How long's the runway on Block Island. Can it accommodate my Gulfstream?
Nope, runway is too short for a Gulfstream. You'll have to take the ferry with the poor people.

Anonymous wrote:Rehoboth and OC, while not perfect beach destinations, are still enjoyable IMHO. I grew up going to OC and Delaware, so part of it is nostalgia for me. My favorite beach spots are OBX and Cape Cod, but still have a fondness for OC and Delaware. For some of their shortcomings, I still prefer them over places like Hilton Head, which while nice, just seem too sterile and cookie cutteresque.

In my circle of friends & acquaintances, that seems to be much more prevalent than shlepping to DE/MD beaches.
My problem with DE/MD beaches is that they are too dense and developed. There is little nature and it’s just homes packed in like sardine cans. It’s not peaceful.
This might be shocking but literally no one GAF.
Like anyone cares! The true old money DC. LOL.

I can’t believe anyone would compare OCMD to Rehobeth. OCMD is like Wildwood! I’m surprised people like that place.
