Damned right she is. She is on the Government payroll, receiving substantial employee benefits and payments-in-kind even if not receiving a salary. She is subject to clearance and disclosure requirements. She has a personal staff of compensated, cleared, on-site Government employees. She has a job to do and it's here. If she isn't going to do it, the White House should make that disclosure public.

The Obama kids had two black SUV's. It wasn't showy at all. The point is, there hasn't been anything like that traveling the obvious routes from the White House to Potomac every day. River Road? Democracy Boulevard? MacArthur Boulvevard? Wisconsin Avenue?

Stop trying this pretend it’s no big deal. Our First Lady spent a week in the hospital for something that’s typically an outpatient procedure. She hasn’t been seen since. She then changed her location on her personal twitter account to NYC, indicating that they have separated. You’re really don’t think this is worth talking about? Especially since her SS protection will cost taxpayers millions upon millions?

The claim is that there is a large continuous secret security presence at the parents' house. I don't know whether that claim is true or not, but since you asked how someone would know, that's what they said.
