ohn Blackmon.
It is geographic. So if you live in the State of Virginia, you will also live in a county. Fairfax County for example (we have no counts) runs all the public schools. I know your system is different.
We have preschool, then Elementary, Middle School and High School. High School is like your Comprehensive School. Each School has a geographic boundary, and students are required to go to the school in the boundary. There is no picking. Now you can pick a school for a special program. For example some schools have foreign language emersion programs. They may be outside of your geographic boundary, so it is a lottery to get into the program.
Good Luck and God Bless.

Why can’t SACC clean house like the school did? I think there comes a point when the teacher loses touch, after 40+ it’s time to retire.
+1
Does this mean +1 like you agree or + 1 like 40+ 1?
I agree, I am wrapping up my family for the night and now reading this.
I work at a SACC in the area, just because some of you got upset cause a teacher hurt your feelings. You go crusade and listen to someone that says they are 1000 miles away. It is a rabble rouser. SACC teachers don’t make this stuff up. I believe this dude called her what she says and probably worse. You people have no idea what have to put up with. I agree with the Marine guy, whaa!
So I guess the SACC alums writing in and all the other parents are all lying too? You and Marine moron are such caricatures. Oorah, let me talk about my balls, and write look a good ole boy. Idiots.

We were at Waynewood. It is great, we are about to put a kid in Thomas Jefferson, and another is graduating, getting ready for Texas A&M. Just look around, and TALK TO THE PTA and PARENTS. YES I AM YELLING. We were lucky at Waynewood. Others have terrible stories. Be careful AND ASK AROUND! The PTA is a resource, and is listed on most school sites, and some schools have separate PTA sites. I know, I was one of the very active PTA parents. God Bless and Good luck.Anonymous wrote:Does anyone have experience using School Age Child Care (SACC) (Fairfax County Public Schools)? Could you comment on your experience, and whether you would recommend for child care over the summer?

Fake or not, he inspired me to record any interactions I have with SACC staff. This area is too stressful to have riff raff making false racial accusations or calls to CPS and I won't be caught off guard like these others.
I am a concerned mom. Yes I like being able to be on this site with out the FCPS or SACC knowing who I am. Dcurbanmom is a great board.
That being said, for the last poster, how do you record? Your phone? That is a really good idea. I know my daughter acts quiet and sad when she comes home from SACC. I know she loves to color with her friends, and doesn’t like the gym games. My son seems the opposite. He likes SACC and playing the games in he gym and all the music they do with it. I think there is good and bad there.
Recording any conversation is a good idea, THANK YOU!
