If Mueller issues a subpoena he will likely invoke the 5th Amendment arguing that it is a witch hunt, etc and that his lawyer has advised him not to do so.
Liberals will go nuts when that happens. Republicans and his supporters will be fine with it because the only downside is political damage and Trump has already laid the groundwork for why Mueller is biased, the FBI is corrupt, etc so the fallout among those whose opinions count, will not matter.
Liberal opinion and rants don't matter one iota to Trump and most Republicans. What matters is whether the conservative agenda is being implemented and that is happening in spades .... it is all that matters to Republicans.
Trump didn’t have to lay groundwork. FBI texts did
Texts between two FBI employees who were having an affair and used their official phones for personal texts in which they openly exchanged their views about the events of the day including their personal opinions about Trump, Clinton, Sanders, Holder etc. Totally wrong, totally inappropriate and they were removed from the Mueller probe within the first couple of months as soon as their texts were discovered (this was done months before the media learned about the texts so Mueller did the right thing for the right reasons).
I don't care if they said anything 'bad' about Clinton. The fact is, they gave away the farm in those texts, regarding information about how Clinton was never going to be prosecuted and she knew that before she was interviewed, etc. Furthermore, they mention higher-ups being involved as well. I'm sorry, but your narrative has no 'there there'.

And the Post, and other news agencies that have independently verified it. And there was a rumor at the time, which Kellyanne hotly denied.
Trump confident Ruddy was on TV confirming that Trump wanted to do this. Even Fox has confirmed at this point. Crickets from inner circle. Crickets from Dowd-Cobb-Sekulow. This has the fingerprints of Kasowitz all over it.

Liberals have been saying this for the past year and there have been predictions that Trump would be impeached last summer, last fall and by the end of 2017. Liberals live in a fantasy world ..........
