Agree. Paralegals are hugely profitable. They earn $60k base which works out to about $31 an hour. Yet they bill out at $300 to $400 an hour. Obviously, you have to subtract benefits (401k, insurance, FICA, etc.), but paralegals are quite profitable.

All the paralegals I know hate most of the lawyers they work for. The ones they like and respect, they don't want to bang.

This happened at my dad’s midwestern lawfirm. But the partners were a bunch of sleazebags mixed up with Les Wexner and Epstein. The firm broke up after one of the founding partners was murdered.

A friend asked me about affairs in my field right before she wrote a self published novel. I told her some horror stories and she tried to make them hot.

Ha! My dad had a very small law group while I was growing up, and his paralegal was an older lady named Patty . I cannot even imagine my dad cheating on my mom with Patty. It’s kind of a riot.
