Yeah, it's not set up for a run-off primary.
Perhaps the changers should have figured that out.

The community has spoken, the name should be “Stuart H.S.”, if the Superintendent and/or the School Board choose any name other than “Stuart” then the decision was clearly manipulated and coerced by outside sources and the Stuart community will be extremely upset.
This is America, and the Stuart community has spoken.
Most of the Stuart community was not in favor of a name change in the first place, but this was INGNORED by the school board.

The votes for someone affiliated with the fight to end segregation significantly outweighed those for keeping the symbol of those who fought to keep desegregation and supported massive resistance. The community has spoken. Based on the votes, more of the community will be upset by keeping the name, if that's your benchmark for how the school board should proceed. Only those within the pyramid could vote, so to go against the majority of those within the community who voted would be a travesty.

At the end of the day, the school will only have one name. Why couldn't the Marshall and Johns people agree on one name since they both fought against segregation? Then they'd have had one name with 1500 votes to Stuart's 917.
If it ends up Stuart, they'll only have themselves to blame.

Actually, it is. Wasn't that the recommendation of the SB? And, it would save a LOT of cash.
