She is rich and still famous because she is extremely adept at social media and business. It's fine to hate her because she puts her whole life out there, but anyone calling her stupid is ignorant. Even if you put aside all of the hard work she's put into her business and think of it as JUST her sex tape = her riches I would really like to see all of you NOT release a sex tape if you knew it would make not just you but your entire extended family and loved ones wealthy and secure for generations. I've never followed Kim or the Kardashians and I certainly never watched their show. Based on the commentary in the media, I assumed they were a prettier version of Honey Boo Boo's family or something. Then a few weeks ago I found myself face to face with their show while getting a pedicure. It was on the TV in the shop. I was shocked. They come across as a really nice, close, loving family. I just don't get the hate towards those guys who don't seem to bother or talk badly about anyone.

Clearly it's all jealousy. Not only are they rich, they are gorgeous and have amazing bodies. As for the sex tape, Kim didn't peddle porn. She had sex with her boyfriend and made the mistake a lot of young people do-she recorded it. Her boyfriend released it, hoping to no longer be "Brandi's brother" and boost his career. After all, he had one while Kim was completely unknown. But in a beautiful karmic twist, she AND HER FAMILY profited while he's a washed up has been.

This many years later, I really don't understand why people continue to drudge up a video made in her youth with a boyfriend to try to discredit her. Like, create a different lie--I mean reason--for disliking her. The sextape reason is as old as the tape at this point.

In your experience as a nanny for these bigwigs, do the kids get sufficient love and attention from their parents? I imagine a shuffling around of nannies and endless wondering when the next hug will be.

Not PP. Don't most kids sleep in different rooms than their parents? If KK was staying in a 4 bedroom apartment in Paris or NYC (or wherever) why would the children need to sleep in her bedroom? There's space for everyone to have their own room (nanny, celeb, kids, bodyguard). My old supervisor only got 5 hours a day with her kids during the week. The rest of the time they were sleep, at school, or she's at work.

Celeb nanny here- No the kids are usually in a separate apartment, in the same building. Sometimes the assistant will stay in the apt but not the kids. A few times in London we have been at different hotels. When we arrive somewhere we also arrive 30-90 mins before the celebrity to avoid paparazzi. When we stay at a different hotel we have own own security.

This. If you don't like her the way you wouldn't care for any actress, okay. But the blind hatred for her really is astounding. She's not the only person to make a living off of a reality show in conjunction with social media. She was just smart enough to tie in a bunch of businesses off that.

Celeb nanny here- I've been working with celebrities for 16 years and almost every family I have slept in the room with the kids when we travel. Some families spend a lot of time with their kids but most don't. The kids have the best nannies, tutors, schools, coaches and they're surrounded by great people but not usually enough family time.

This is why it is:

1.) publicity stunt
2.) they are cheap as fuck to only have 1 security person

She was just grabbed last week in Paris and had an incident before in Paris. Perfect time to send your ONE bodyguard out with your sisters?
