The Starbucks in the Burlington Coat Factory shopping center in Bailey's Crossroads has been taken over by Middle Eastern men who monopolize the tables both inside and outside. It is very uncomfortable even walking by them because of their nasty comments.

That isn't fair- i am a hijab and burka wearing (ok h&m shirtdress over pants wearing) muslim of pakistani origin and those guys creep me out even though they are usually polite to me. I always wonder wether they'd be so smiling and polite if it wasn't for my clothing- they should behave that way to ALL women, ALL women are worthy of respect- my clothing choice is because i want to obey Gods commandments in the Quran, it doesn't say anywhere that only Muslim women should be respected. These men are terrible Muslims, tbh, like a pp most of the South Asian and Persian men, even from my fathers generation didn't act like these creeps.

I was recently listening to an Imam addressing this issue and he really went after the others of muslim boys who 'love' on their sons and train their daughters and tech their sons to disrespect women and won't give them equal chores in the house etc. . so it is really a Miiddle eastern problem- even the Christians from that area are like this.

On French beaches if you wear a tunic to protect yourself from the sun the police will show up and force you to remove some of your clothing and then fine you (for wearing an outfit not respecting good morals) because they think a tunic is a burka and a tichel is a hijab. Men of course can wear long sleeves shirts at the beach, just not woman.

A government forcing woman to disrobe in public and expose a certain percent of her arms and legs is as bad as the government that forces her to cover them up.

+1 this. Look at her, she's not even wearing a burqa or burkini. She has a headscarf (not illegal) and a shirt (also not illegal), but because she's wearing them together and she's a bit brown, it's a "danger" to the beach society. Unreal.

It's also good protection from the sun. Like I said, I'm no fan of Islam, or any religion, but there's no good reason to ban these women from wearing these outfits. Whether a catholic nun has ever bombed people is not the issue. The issue is about freedom to dress the way we want. If the issue is that they truly want to protect people in case someone tries to hide a bomb or gun under the burqa, then they should also ban the habit because a bomber could use a habit to accomplish the same thing. This shouldn't be about religion because in France, and is in the US, people have freedom of religion. Whether or not you like that religion is moot. People who are intent to hurt others is a different story, but not all Muslims are intent on hurting people. I'm sure you are aware of that fact.

Yes, I have an issue when they ban baggy pants in a public place. As long as it is decent, ie, covering up your bits, I don't really care what people wear. The ban is like the opposite of the morality fashion police - not showing enough skin. It's stupid.
