Who cares? It's pot. Should be legal in my opinion... I don't want to smoke it but I definitely do not want the government regulating what I can or cannot put into my own body (or what anyone else can put into theirs).
As for the dancing... so? It's dancing! Previous generations had plenty of awkward/weird/ugly/disliked by elders dance styles.

Anyway, you're clearly starting with "I don't like Malia Obama" and working backwards from there to justify it.
I said, " spending $120 just to get into an event like this would be absurd to her." She wouldn't consider lollapalooza a "special event" but there are plenty of other things she would and does enjoy. I'm confident that she doesn't smoke pot and dance like stripper when she's there though.
And I don't know Malia Obama, so I'm in no position to like her or not. That has nothing to do with my position at all. All I said was that the exhibited behavior shouldn't be called "normal."

If she thinks it would be absurd to save up for tickets to an all-day festival of bands that she enjoys, then that's her prerogative. Who says a kid who doesn't "party" must come from a strict household?
My high school senior has her own car, plenty of spending money, no real curfew...and enough common sense to be a responsible citizen. She's not drinking, smoking pot, having sex, etc. She's still out at least a couple of nights a week with friends and has a pretty active social life; she just doesn't need to act like an idiot to have a little fun. I guess most of you think that she's not the normal one though, but I hope you're wrong.

And if what you're saying is true, and little Larla really is a good girl now it's because she's kept on such a short leash, and whew, watch out for college! The kids who had super strict parents growing up were always the worst in college. The one year I was an RA, the three freshmen on my floor who got probation fall semester and eventually flunked out spring semester came from strict parent households where they were allowed hardly any freedom.
