I am far from an Obama fan, and yes, he misspoke here. But, I am pretty tired of evaluating every.single.word that every politician utters.
I am the person that posted this blunder in response to the poster that was up in arms about Trump saying Kaine was from NJ, and not VA.
It was a mistake, pure and simple.
He is human - just like Obama is human.
NP. Yes, Obama misspoke. And Trump misspoke when he mixed up NJ and VA.
Inviting Russian hackers to publish private emails, whether they are of Joe Anybody or of the Secretary of State, is not supporting transparency. It's wrong.
He was not making an “invitation.”
He was being sarcastic, and making a point that HRC has deleted just as many emails as she turned over.
And, it was effective.
Why even joke about that? It makes him and the USA look stupid and classless... And if showcases how he will behave in the foreign policy arena if elected - like a buffoon.

How do you "invite" someone to hack things that have been deleted?
You do know that even "deleted" items are never truly gone off of a server and can be recovered, right?
I was going to say this. How can people not know that deleted emails can be recovered?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How the f-ck does one hack a server where the emails have been deleted?
The assumption is that they hacked her server and he is saying that if they have it he hopes they would be released. What is wrong with the release of emails that one of these parties have gained possession?
According to Republicans, all of the emails will include Hillary personally saying "stand down in Benghazi, I want all the bloodshed!" and other dire secrets you're sure are there, so it's weird you'd want them out there. Hacked. By invitation of a presidential candidate. For the "law and order" party.
I am a Sanders supporter, FYI ......... Clinton deleted emails that she claimed were personal. If they are still available anywhere - and the odds are they are available by someone who hacked her server - what is wrong with them being released? I am sure most people will not give a damn about her yoga classes, etc.
Aside from such an act being a federal crime?

And he wants to be friend with Putin who he recognizes is a racist
He did not say this and you know it ..........
He absolutely said this. I just listened to him say. I hope Putin likes me. I hope America does the right thing in November. This is not a reality show, this is real life.
Yep Trump says that because Putin is a racist ("he used the n-word....I was shocked") he can't work with Obama, but he'll be able to work with the Donald because they have their skin color in common.

In GOPLand, do territories not get to vote for President?
Here.... this should help you understand. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_voting_rights_in_Puerto_Rico
Nice attempt at trying to justify Obama’s blunder.
Did you watch the roll call last night? There are exactly 57 jurisdictions with delegates to the convention; 50 states and 7 jurisdictions without electoral votes, including:
American Samoa
Democrats Abroad
Guam
Northern Marianas
Puerto Rico
Unassigned
Virgin Islands
I've heard this "joke" about Obama for years and wondered if the people who repeat were just ignorant of that or if there was some next-level humor I was missing.
At the risk of going off topic, here is what Obama said:
"it is just wonderful to be back in Oregon, and over the last 15 months we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in fifty .... seven states? I think one left to go. One left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit but my staff would not justify it."
He didn’t say, “states and territories.” He said, “states.”
And, how did he respond when questioned about this blunder?
Talking with reporters at a later campaign stop, Senator Obama expressed concern that he'd recently misstated both the number of potential victims of a recent cyclone in Burma and the number of states he'd visited, saying:
"I hope I said 100 thousand people the first time instead of 100 million. I understand I said there were 57 states today. It's a sign that my numeracy is getting a little, uh ..."
This is from Snopes, who rated the claim that he said “57 states” true: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/57states.asp
And, yes, he was campaigning and misspoke. Same as Trump today about NJ. When corrected by a reporter, he corrected himself.
It is a nonissue.
Not when he responds, "Whatever, same thing" when corrected. Idiot. (Trump, not you)
