Trying to do the math here. There are women who deep down really wanted girls. So they coddled their boys, which I guess means they treated them too nicely because....I can't figure out that part, if the moms are annoyed that they didn't have girls. Oh, c'mon. Most of the time, people are making light of a situation. Like when you say "teenagers!" in exasperation or something about little girls being dramatic or acting like a princess when they're being a PITA.
