They'll never be happy till 100% goes to the collective and they can dole out "free" stuff for the proletariat.

The majority of my income (literally, over 50%) goes to the state now. It's outta control, and getting worse.

At what point will liberals be happy with the amount of money they take from taxpayers - 50% - 75% or like Sweden 90%?

I certainly hope FARM families are not eating out - and especially at McDonalds.
The tax payer is caring for them because they CAN. NOT. TAKE. CARE. OF. THEMSELVES.

Sorry - but eating out is a privilege because you have worked for yourself to acquire skills to treat yourself (not the taxpayer) to a meal out. Eating out is not a right.
Got it, Ms. Liberal?

Typical tax-and-spend liberal feedback. "Oh, come on, it's just a teeny bit.
You don't hate children, do you?". When does a teeny bit become a not so teeny bit?

I don't even understand why conservatives or Republicans live in Fairfax County. You have a whole state who wants you. Leave our blue part alone or just know yes, you will be taxed to fund YOUR child's education and deal with it.

By all means, watch the FCPS School Board replay from tonight if you want to see DEMS in action. They just passed the SRR and don't even know how to define the terms. "Case by case"....yet they are holding kids responsible to it. They really don't get it.

Don't believe me? Ok. It's not about the "teeny bit" of extra cost. It's about f.u. to the tax & spend democrats. And we don't eat much chicken or potatoes either. We eat mostly vegetarian.
Don't you just love how the democrats leave their jurisdictions with excessively high taxes and go to great places that they proceed to screw up just like the places that they left? Some people will never learn.

And this pp wants republicans/conservatives to leave NOVA:

Your part was our part before your left liberal hell holes to come pollute our well.

FCPS is not able to do anything about this. The BOS is the only group that can take charge of this matter. If the BOS is going to withhold money, they should back it up with some regulation changes that help mitigate the effects of students coming here illegally or becoming poor and being surrounded by poor people.

The meals tax gives these people the option of eating out or not. It's something they can have a direct choice about.

FCPS can certainly do something about this. Modest auditing of FARMS and residency information would certainly shake out the majority of the freeloaders in short time.

There needs to be a cooling off period on all these tax increases. Last year they raised the sales tax, a couple weeks ago they raised the Real Estate tax rate. We haven't seen any increase in value from these yet (and I'm not holding my breath we will).

Leave us alone for a while please.....

I know FCPS can't do anything about it, but the BOS can. Instead of doing something about it, the BOS is asking for more money to thrown down the drain that is FCPS. That's why I'll be voting no on the meals tax.
