I think it's interesting that you put black women with blacks instead of women. Do you not consider Harriet Tubman a woman? If you stop focusing on the white, you might be pleased by this move.

She symbolizes freedom more than Jackson ever did. As a minority woman, I welcome this change. It's refreshing to see. All the white men in my family are rolling their eyes though, so I'll just have to keep my smile for HT on the inside.

I think MLK boulevards all over the South is good. He was a remarkable man thru and thru

Affirmative action for women is a thing.

Also a thing: women who are black. When you say "women", that includes "blacks". When you say "blacks", that includes women.


White women are not behind black women on any way. It's context specific how white women fare compared to black men.
