I would just like to say that this thread kicked me into going to the mall and throwing myself at the mercy of some very nice salespeople at Loft and Banana Republic to get some stylish clothes today.
I picked those 2 stores because there was a really cute pregnant saleswoman in the doorway of Loft, and I liked the saleswoman outfit and hair I saw at Banana.
I made sure I got 4 entire outfits including accessories before I left and I feel like a million bucks and only spent about $5OO.

brown suede boots, white leather skirt, brown satin sleeveless top, brown swing jacket

A favorite Nanette Lepore blue wool dress, bare legs but black Clergerie stretch suede knee-high boots, and a black Classiques Entier jacket that I take on & off during the day.

I work from home on Fridays, so it's 'casual Thursday' in the office for me:

- dark skinny jeans
- work logo'd t-shirt
- black and grey striped cardigan
- green chucks
