Don't let your dog in people's yards. It's rude. I don't let either of my dogs go into other people's yards.

I once lived on a street where this guy would walk his dog and he'd have the dog on a retractable leash and the dog would walk all over people's yards, right up to their front door and around the sides of their house. So irritating.

We don't hate dogs, we hate dog people.

I am beginning to understand why!

This. She may be crazy and a ranter, but it's HER yard. Just stay away from the crazy people.

On your own lawn? On public property?

There are dog trainers that will train your dog (and you - who probably needs the training more) to be more in tune with your dog's habits. Maybe you should look into some proper training for your animal?

Op let the dog go to the bathroom in the yard not on the sidewalk grass strip. 3' onto the persons property.

Well, it would be messed up to allow your dog to walk well into a neighbor's yard like that. On the edge of the grass by the sidewalk is one thing. But don't use your dog as an excuse to walk onto my property. If you can't reach the poop from where you are standing on the sidewalk you have allowed your dog to wander too far into my yard.

I don't understand why people think as long as the pick up the poop that it is "ALL" gone. It's not. There is still leftovers in the grass. Another reason why I try my hardest not to ever walk in public grass. It's disgusting!!

I hope you vigilantly chase all the squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, etc. from your yard as well because, my god THE HORROR, if they poop on your precious lawn.

Dogs poop. As long as the owner cleans it up, who cares.

I can't say I've ever noticed a squirrel pooping or seen squirrel poop on my lawn. They must have very good manners.
They are simply pooping in the trees and it is raining now on you in tiny little squirrel poop balls.

It doesn't matter that you don't agree with another person's point of view, just respect her right to have it. Her property is her's and she has made it clear neither you nor your dog can defecate within its boundaries.

You have completely and officially lost all perspective. Put one of those "no poop" signs in your yard and hopefully your neighbors keep their dogs away from you. Put one on your couch while you're at it...might as well.

Anyone who has owned a dog, gas it on a leash, and is paying attention can easily prevent it from going in someone's yard. I had a giant dog but I never let it go in another yard. Those leashes really work you know. It's the owner that's not under control.

I would not be happy if a person was making it a point to walk their dog over to my lawn to poop on a regular basis. But I'm not going to go bat sh*t crazy if it happens on occasion. Sometimes dogs squat and poop without a lot of warning. As long as the owner picks it up...

I mean what else are they really supposed to do? It isn't like the owner/dog targeted that yard. It just sort of happened, It got cleaned up. I fail to see the point of the outrage.
