I think they said somewhere along the line (or maybe Reality Steve did) that it was to do with security - so they weren't revealing where people lived for crazed fans to turn up and torment their folks.

Actually, Reality Steve doesn't know why. He is thinking it is to prevent spoilers from getting out, but he isn't sure if this change was a 1-time thing or if it will go through for future seasons. This season is so whack anyway.

Interesting about the security comment, I'd not thought of it ... My first thought was to save on budget, like others have mentioned. Ha, well, maybe the producers thought she was not worth the expenditure. Not nice to say, though!

Thank you!! So weird! Nick is from Chicago. Shawn, who knows? Maybe he's from Utah?

I think they're just skimping on the budget big time. Rather than flying the whole production crew to four cities and then flying the final two guys to Kaitlyn's hometown, they're having Nick & Shawn's families meet her there, and we'll probably see the guys meet her family at the same place. Major bummer. This season is really lacking in the travel, see the world, department, which is a big appeal of the show.

And there was the drunk guy who got in the pool first night and was sent home, wasn't there?

I remember she was in a bathing suit in a hot tob as she got up and went to get a rose. I think it was one of the early one-on-ones? Maybe Ben Z. after their haunted house (or whatever that was) date? Or another early one-on-one.

Thus, Nick and Shawn and NOT Eskimo Brothers.

Oh, didn't realize that. Thanks!

Early in the season there was a lot of skin showing, in the house and in the "challenges", like with sumo wrestling.

Ireland is too cold for swimsuits
