Because you are middle aged (as you say later), you are probably unaware of how things have changed in the last 20 years since you were young and dating, and people are more relaxed about older women younger man relationships. 1 out of 5 marriages now involves older women, and I don't think they are all desperate as you imply. So much of this is socially conditioned, and it is now more acceptable for a (slight) age difference with the woman older. Not going to argue with you, women 10+ years older is very uncommon and will probably never be common. But your post is out of touch.

I don't think my post is out of touch, this thread was about older middle aged women and younger men, i'm not talking about a 5 year age difference, i'm talking about middle aged women thinking much younger men would be attracted to them.

I would be deluded to think a 20 or 30 something year old guy would be interested in me, men of high value don't go for much older women. If we like it or not we all age if we have that privilege,
that doesn't mean we lose our worth or we are not valuable anymore but we can't attracted men like we used to, youth is attractive no matter how many times you tell yourself different, a young 25 year old woman will always be more attractive than a woman twice her age.

Why would a 35 year old man go for a woman in her mid 40 when he could easily date a 30 year old woman, like i said it's the same for men why would a 25 year old girl go for a middle aged guy if she can easily attract guys her own age.

Just look at Demi and Ashton, he left her and married Mila a woman 20 years younger than Demi, someone near his own age.

Or, once in a million, you meet someone who is so attractive to you mentally and physically, the age difference is irrelevant. This person understands and sees the beautiful younger ladies, but finds you irresistible and falls in love because you fit together so well. This man doesn't run with societal norms, has suffered incredible loss and sees the deeper reason for partnership and love. We honestly don't notice any age difference, tho as a divorced man in his 40's, he could be chasing young women.

More like, society is broken. Even when I was young and hot- and I was- I never went after dudes for money. It's alien to me. Attraction, yes, but money doesn't play into that. I understand surface attractions and not wanting to be with someone you aren't hot for. But I don't understand dumping a lady you love and enjoy just because she will age before you. If you're mad about someone, that surface stuff becomes less of an issue. Real love is hard to find. I'm only commenting on the men saying they'd not make a true commitment to an older lady, even if they loved her. Sad.

It is sad and I completely agree that real love is hard to find. I think sometimes young people don't realize the truth of that statement. To my mind, saying I love you but I can't be with you because you're older means either you don't really love her, or you do and you're afraid of getting hurt.

I'm the pp and i didn't mean men dump their wives because of aging, if that was the case i would be divorced too, growing old together is different, but this thread is more about younger guys being attracted to older women which is just delusional to say, a young guy will be attracted to a woman his age or younger, even most older guys are attracted to younger women, youth is attractive.

We laugh about men who are deluded enough to think a hot 20 something is genuine attracted to him, but the same should go for women too, of course it may be exiting for a young guy to have sex with a woman who is much older than him but that's it.

Of course there is always the exception to the rule but most men are rather shallow. You sound like you found your soulmate but most people aren't that lucky.
And no need to bring the popcorn i'm not a troll, i'm a middle aged mom who looks fairly attractive for her age, at least i hope so. But i'm not delusional, if my hubby and i would divorce i couldn't compete with a woman in her 20s or in her 30s.
