"Marshall High School students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Engineering and International Baccalaureate (IB) Design Technology classes have been participating in an Enabling the Future project, printing three dimensional (3-D) prosthetic hands for refugees around the world who have been disfigured by war. Marshall High School is a Fairfax County public school."

What are the six classes?
The six subject groups are:
•Studies in language and literature
•Language acquisition
•Individuals and societies
•Sciences.
•Mathematics
•The arts.
I found them. Do you think it's a turn off to have to study foreign language and the arts at an IB level in order to get the diploma? These aren't popular AP subjects.

Over 520 in 2013. However, it's a poor analogy as the requirements are more demanding than for an IB diploma (you have to take more exams and to do better on them) and it's not the only level of achievement recognized by the College Board. The College Board also recognizes AP Scholars, Scholars with Honor, and Scholars with Distinction, in addition to National AP Scholars, and you can be recognized before you graduate.
How many of those were at TJ?
