I am interested in seeing who said the Torah was corrupted. Please provide reference, quote.

If nobody buys anything I am saying you would not deem it necessary to continually respond to me. You respond to my posts because you are concerned that somebody out there might believe my posts, or they may at least start investigating.

Quite honestly the only rebuttals I recall are
- yes there may have been old manuscripts but they were from Ebionites
But the Ebionites seem to have been practicing monotheism which is closer to original manuscript
-theres no proof those manuscripts were in fact the oldest in the world

The standardized Quran was created from the original. No add ons. No edits.

Yes, I too learned that Muslims view the Quran as perfection after the Christians and Jews screwed it up. Too bad I personally don't see "perfection" in things like returning to eye-for-eye, after Jesus got rid of it.

Dear OP:

- Jesus clearly says we are to stop thinking in terms of "eye-for-eye" retaliation.

- Islam retains eye-for-eye.

Is this a difference, or a similarity?

This is actually one of the cornerstones of Islam - that everyone is born in the correct faith (Islam), it's the evil parents that lead them astray. That's why converts in Islam are called reverts, as in "they are coming back home."

I always thought it's a pretty arrogant stance. But that is true for all religions. Islam isn't special in claiming specialness.
