We dont let her go in the front yard because we dont want yellow spots on the lawn. My neighbor thinks its cool to let his dog pee on my mailbox/grass everyday. I find this very disrespectful. I would never let my dog go on someone else's property.
I don't blame the dogs I blame the humans. Puppies should be trained where to go from the start. Don't y'all watch the dog whisperer? Ceaser would agree with me.
You have a female dog. My male dog does most of his big pees in our yard, but good luck trying to train out the need to drop those 3-5 pee droplets on an area another male dog has previously marked. You can do it basically by brute force, but it's a pretty instinctual thing. Most trainers are concerned with males who mark in the house, but trying to train them to not ever mark outside is a whole different ballgame.

Right! 25 lb bag of red hot pepper from Amazon (like you put on pizza) sprinkled around on the lawn does the trick. And has the added bonus of being subtle. The dogs just do not like it.
Don’t tell everyone! Dogs have to poop somewhere !
Then they can learn to use their owners’ lawn. I specifically do not own a dog because I do not like dog waste. My idiot neighbor let her dog pee all over a new rose bush I planted and it died. I really, really dislike rude and insensitive dog owners.

Anonymous wrote:The lack of respect for another person's property by at least one disgruntled dog owner on this thread is disturbing. I have had this same problem with people walking their dogs by my property and allowing them to pee on my mailbox and landscaping around the perimeter of my property. I spend time and money (not to mention the taxes I pay) to make my property look nice. I don't appreciate you letting your dog use it as his/her personal toilet. When I work on my landscaping, I don't want to be putting my hands into your dog's poop or pee. Why don't you curb your dog on your own property? If you see your dog stopping to do it's business on my property, give the leash a yank and train your dog not to do these things. I see too many dog owners just simply stop walking and idly watch their animal while it messes on my mailbox or landscaping. How about I come to your house and piss on your mailbox or where your kids might play? Don't want that? Now you know how I feel.
