First round I had 19 eggs, 15 mature, 14 fertilized (with donor sperm), and 6 made it to blastocyst stage on day 6 to be frozen (for genetic screening). I wanted to do a second round of retrieval and send all embryos for genetic testing at once, so today 20 eggs were retrieved. I guess in 2-3 weeks I'll know how many of the embryos are healthy and start on FET. Encouraging to read how many of your 40+ moms have had success. I opted to do the genetic screening because my mother and paternal grandmother had way too many miscarriages and I wanted to avoid that, to any extent possible. Also wanted to get all the eggs upfront, before I get any older.

13 follicles retrieved. 9 were mature. 6 fertilized with ICSI.
4 embryos made it to Day 5; We transferred 2. BFN. The clinic kept an eye on the 2 remaining embryos one more day to see if they would make it to freeze. They did not.

Very confused about Doing PGD testing. Also heard that sometime doing a frozen transfer is better than fresh because body gets some rest. Is it true??
