holy crap, what is wrong with the VCL parents. You can't possibly think you are helping out your team. Has anyone pointed this thread to the coaches or the crabs owner? I wouldn't think they' be too happy.

Could also be that this is the first time VLC is only having one tryout for the year. Or, that each year the sport has grown in this area. Or, that being affiliated with a great program like the crabs has brought more kids in general. Or, that other programs like fuze are going from two teams to one team. Or, that VLC has one of the earliest tryouts, most are after labor day. Or, that you are a close-minded, child that can't see beyond your blind hatred and obvious jealousy of another program. Just saying...

They bought another garbage program, Chesapeake
Rock. Kids will bolt at the end of summer...
VLC or FCA offer much better alternatives.
They did not buy Chesapeake Rock and after this event Rock broke their ties. Every program has its issues from club to rec. as a parent you must always have your child's best interest at heart.
Madlax did agree to buy Rock. After the Deadspin article revealed those hateful emails, the Rock founder emailed his parents saying that didn't represent the way Rock treats people. Shortly afterwards, Rock called off the purchase.
Given the ton of kids at the VLC tryouts llastast weekend, a lot of families are hedging their bets.
Not true.
I have no axe to grind with vlc and have friends in that program. I have heard that, at least at the 2018 test, there were no defectors of any consequence (no strong madkax u15s attended vlc tryouts last weekend)
Same here - no axe to grind with VLC and have family friends that play in the program. On my sons AA madlax team, I have also heard that none of his teammates tried out for VLC.
Of course that is what those kids said and what your heard. I was at those tryouts and there were several Madlax kids my son recognized, and none of them were wearing their Madlax helmets. Whether any of them make a VLC team and opt to leave may be a different story, but several were there.

There were a few, but they were not wearing their Madlax helmets. There were a lot more for the tryouts for the other teams.

Go ahead and flame, facts be damned. I would point out (since you are accusing others of cowardice), that it is more than a bit cowardly to smear people as cowards when you hide behind "anonymous." Oh, and before you point out, which you surely will (you cannot stop yourself), I surely am responding anonymously as I can just imagine the nonsense and mischief that would otherwise invite from you.
Really, get a life. Families and parents will make their own decisions regardless of what you think and what you have decided for them is correct.

Hi, Madlax mom. Hope you're feeling great while other kids are treated like trash.
Anonymous wrote:No. None from any of the AA teams.
