My favorite is always when the guy turns to the woman asks her how she likes "your kitchen" -- because everyone knows that the kitchen belongs to the woman for work, while the recreational space belongs to the dude. I kind of worry that my kids are somehow being indoctrinated by being exposed to that. I would kill my son if twenty years from now he turned to his wife and said something like "how do you like your kitchen?"

I'm not sure how all the cleavage and tight tanktops help with the work.
Not that I'm complaining or anything.

I find it a little depressing to watch because lots of times he seems to kind of run roughshod over the wife -- like in the one in Alaska where he makes the woman agree to live in a house with an outhouse, or no running water, or no central heat, etc. I'm always more interested in the relationship between the couples than the other details of the show -- like the ones where people who are living together but not married buy a house together. I always wonder if it will last and how they will divide up the house if it doesn't.
