Jack in the Box is disgusting!

There are several Jason's Deli's around... Falls Church and Fair Lakes, off the top of my head. I'm from Oklahoma and I haven't heard this one yet - Braum's. Delicious ice cream and burgers and the nicer ones have a mini grocery aisle where you can pick up milk and other goodies. Mmmmmm.

Of course, would settle for an In-n-Out.

I've made the drive to Fredericksburg for Sonic...

OMGoodness!! They had one outside Langley AFB in Hampton(early 90's) and I LOVED it. I went back to the area about 6 years and it's no longer there . YES, best chili dogs!

But I will add that one of the things I loved/love about DC (proper) when I first moved here is the lack of "chain" restaurants. I love going to new and unique places that they don't have anywhere else in the country. I hate it when chain places pop up here in DC. I don't mind when they are in the 'burbs because to me thats one of the characteristics of the 'burbs, but I would like to keep most of them out of DC as much as possible.

There are Roy Rodgers in Germantown, Gaithersburg and Manassas as while as near Mt. Veron.

I want Culver's.

Also Sheetz closer than Leesburg, Frederick or Manassas.

There is a Christmas trip shop in Hagerstown behind the mall.

Roy Rogers is in the Belle View Shopping Center off GW Parkway, near Old Town Alexandria. Great Trigger burgers

Yes there is one if Frederick and one in Largo too I think but all these places are too far from me. I'd like the one at Tenley to come back or maybe the one that was on River Road.

I love Roy Rogers....yes, let's get another one here!

I can't eat at Roy Rogers ever again after on a business trip my assistant said (about the one in the Trenton train station), "It smells like rancid grease in here"

Dude, I never claimed Wawa was a culinary treat. But when we are on a roadtrip and my kids want snacks and I want a clean bathroom, Wawa rocks. Or when we are at the beach in Bethany and want to grab tasty, non-greasy fast food, they do it just a little bit better....at Wawa! (and if you recognize that jingle from your childhood, you know what I mean!)

South Jersey transplant here; I totally agree!

There are Wawas a bit down 95 from here, why can't there be some closer to us? Where I'm from each town seems to have at least three!

I was going to guess Atlanta.

Good Chicago style pizza. UNOs and Armando's is vile.
