Don't worry. The only public DC school she was interested in is Yu Ying. She has a well-known Chinese voice and isn't interested in any school that doesn't take Chinese seriously. I've heard she's at a high-profile private, and I hope she, and her child, and the family in general are happy there. The school is lucky to have them.

She was a great addition to the community, too. It was a pity to see her go, but I had no idea she didn't live in DC. I wish she had moved in from MoCo so that we could have kept her, but the law is the law and I'm glad the school hews to it without reservation.
