I HAD a donut in my purse but it is now on my desk, half eaten while I savor it. And yes, it's been on the kitchen counter in a plastic bag since Sunday. But it is DAMN GOOD!

This happened to me on Saturday. I bought a maple bacon donut from the Astro truck while walking around Clarendon and put it in my purse. Imagine my delight when I realized, hours later, that I had a treat in my purse.

The donut was good -- tasted nice and fresh -- but I was disappointed at the lack of maple flavor.

Whelp. Had the doissant. It is super rich and sweet and not for the faint of heart. I gave in after eating half. DH had 1 1/4 of one and paid for it with an all day stomachache. You've been warned.
