I've got a Ph.D., in fed for 12 years, and am a GS12. Am finding it curious and depressing that the majority of those responding to this thread are GS 14s and 15s.

We are two GS-13s and we live in Capitol Hill east. I love this thread because it highlights the areas that would be real possibilities for us if we later leave the City (Annandale, Silver Spring, FFX county part of Falls Church). We have three kids so ideally we'd like 4 bedrooms.
