I don't think he ever went to Landon. The Landon transfer is at Episcopal.
I thought SJC had a rising senior goalie.

I’m not seeing why a guy who has access to dorm rooms, national profile, and a lower cost of living would take the Bullis job. But hey, it’s off season and people need something to do.
Ummm, money?!
Seriously so you people ever leave the beltway? We traveled to a game there and it was as laden with G-wagons and Rivians as any parking lot you’d pull into in Bethesda. They’re dripping with PE and hedge fund money in a town drenched in it. Guess again.

If Nic Bell does come to Bullis, then I would certainly add the Bulldogs to this list as it will mean Bullis is not backing down. Nic Bell won't leave STAB if Bullis doesn't give him at least 1 -2 admissions slots a year.
+1 Agree no other names being thrown around here for the Bullis position will have the impact that Nic Bell will. Unlike the other names in the mix, Nic Bell has name recognition far beyond the immediate DMV. He has a proven track record for building successful programs and will attract new talent to Bullis. I think their program will stay strong even if they bring in local talent (simply maintaining the house that Bellistri has built), but I see it going to the next level under Bell.

At STAB:
1) You have to travel 1-2 hours for every away game
2) Thin local talent
3) Need to recruit to central VA and competing against Brunswick, Deerfield, Culver, etc.
Yes, daily beltway traffic is a delight compared to a spring season of arduous rural travel. Dude, you’re really reaching. If it were one of the MIAA-A schools I could see the logic of a jump clearly. Not so much for Bullis.

With Hilgy now at Prep and his club connections nationwide, and GP's desire to fill the dorms, I do believe GP will be able to sustain a very high level of nationwide success. Prep graduated a ton of seniors this spring, but they will bring in some players via the transfer portal and stash them in the dorms.
I suspect you will see Landon and SJC field some very competitive teams every three seasons and then enter a "two-year" rebuilding phase of taking their lumps.

The GZ program is beginning to fall off. If the Eagles have a subpar season in 2027, you will see a reboot of its existing coaching staff.
