Usually the shooting is part of the robbery. The $600 in cash was found in his bag on the ground. So it doesn’t seem like robbery was the motive. What was?

Shooting Sunday evening was apparently a 16 yr old who shot himself accidentally and ditched the gun near Total Wine in Friendship Heights.
