The top ones don’t have any back strap—they are basically flip flops and terrible for your ankles and arches.
I feel like these threads are divided in two — the people who have plantar fasciitis or similar foot issues and those that don’t. For those of us in the former group, none of these sandals that you say are not ugly would work. And those of you in the latter category, if you want 5 miles a day in those sandals without arch support, you probably will end up with PF or something similar eventually.
I have vionics that don’t seem available anymore but are similar to this — I can only wear sandals that have adjustable straps, really.

regular gizeh are better - the flowers are too busy
+1. Regular gizeh all the way. If you're wearing them, you can pass yourself off as a reasonably stylish person who wants to be comfy. The flower version are too busy and give the vibe that you think Birks might be cute. They aren't, but if you're wearing the plain Gizeh, it's like you're "in" on it. I don't know how else to explain it.
