BTW, DC chose Oxford over Atlanta campus because they want a liberal arts education in the first two years before they focus on Business classes.

In fact, Emory is better known as a hospital system in Atlanta than as a university. This must not sit well with those Emory boosters. I also find it strange that these boosters are so keen on downplaying the role of one of its component colleges. If my current sophomore is accepted at Oxford College I'd be elated.

Emory's Oxford College in Oxford, GA, isn't an independent, four-year liberal arts college and thus cannot be compared to LACs. Emory's official website (https://oxford.emory.edu/life/index.html) states that "Oxford is Part of Emory" and "As one of Emory's nine colleges and schools, Oxford embodies...." Students there would transition to Emory's Atlanta campus after two years. When DD and I attended an Emory's online info session, the two campuses were introduced in unison as entities on the same level. We know, but did you know Oxford College has its own admissions office? Emory is not like Northeastern or Umich where if you dont get into one college they place you into another. We're not applying to Oxford College so we're only talking about Emory College. Glad you can keep up.

Do US News and other rankings consider Emory College by itself excluding Oxford, or do they consider Emory University as a whole? Each time I see Oxford on a ranking, that's the one in UK. Is Northeastern ranked separately, one for the Boston campus and the other for London start?

The two colleges are academically equivalent."

Thus, contrary to your blatant lie, the ranking DOES NOT only consider Emory College. It considers Emory University as a whole. I know you dislike Oxford College because it drags down the university, but you can't just disown your weakest child.

You're weird. US news says Emorys acceptance rate is 10%. Also says its test scores are 1480-1540. Clearly Oxford is not included in the calculation. You're trying way to hard to prove a point that isnt trying to be made. Oxford doesnt drag Emory down when its harder to get into than T25 schools.
