I think you're referencing the 2015 Girls, on Sunday the 2015 BSC Boys beat the SYC 2015 Boys 7-2.

Nope. BSC parent here. I don't see negative posts. I see you touted winning and then got egg on your face and now don't know how to handle the repercussions of your actions. I don't care how good a soccer coach you are. If you can't teach my kid the life skill of accountability, it is a hard no for me.

BSC used to be the middle ground between Achilles and SYC. We developed but still cared enough about winning. Once you start equating development to results, you are no different than the rest. I don't mind calling out the coaches, parents and admin on this mindset because it is currently rampant in the organization and I am hoping it will change or we will need to find a new home after many years in the program.

The 2016 parents are out of control.


Bethesda 2016 parents are a horror show. The coach was ridiculing the goalie, screaming at them nonstop, and the parents were screaming at us and screaming at our Coach. They called our coach names and insulted him, and were laughing when our kids got hurt. It made me sad because overall Bethesda is a wonderful club full of wonderful people and coaches, and this group of parents has just completely lost the plot. There are more important things than winning, guys. It’s ok to also be good people.

Does this mean none of Bethesdas ulittle teams are changing to SY? That’s going to be a rough go but could take emphasis off winning and more on development.

Hey, your girl's side actually practices what they preach. They play some fantastic soccer and the results are less than optimal at several age groups in a tough NA division, but every time we play them, we know the team will be passing the ball all over the field and positioning will be extremely important. Much more fun playing them vs bootball with some giant fast kids trying to run over everyone.
