Subject: War with Iran
Anyone else totally confused what the purpose of this war is? Did trump mention it at all in the SOTU just a couple days ago? It just seems bizarre he has unilaterally declared war and there’s been basically no debate or even explanation of why, much less the constitutionally required authorization from congress. We are so far into dictatorship it’s not funny.

Did you not see The Iran regime execute 20k protesters last month? They were protesting for their freedom from their oppressive regime.
Military were going into hospitals and executing injured protesters.
This was covered by CNN, BBS, AP news, everyone…..
But yeah, let’s compare that regime that slaughters tens of thousands of protesters to our… where 2 US citizens died protesting against ice and both of them were somehow in dangerous ( but unfortunate) situations with law enforcement. I’m sure many of you here will.

No! Israel has an Army and they can defend themselves. The United States has spent 80 years paying for Germany's annihilation of European Jews. Enough is enough! We should be taking care of our own people who are homeless and hungry as well as free education and medical care that the US has been subsidizing for Israel!

Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons. Pakistan and India should be more of a concern for the U.S. frankly. They both have nukes and both hate each other.
They’re two of the Largest populated nations and apparently one of those nations housed OBL for years. The other has a religious divide between Hindus and Muslims and serious issues with the Chinese. China is another concern. As well as Russia.
Iran is not of major strategic interest to the U.S. It is only for Israel

Iranian’s current president Masoud Pezekhian , a reformist/moderate , former heart surgeon and health minister in the country was democratically elected after the last one was assassinated or died accidentally in the mystery helicopter crash. He’s not part of the religious right. He has criticized the strict enforcement of the hijab law and campaigned on issues like social liberalization and political pluralism.
He’s still the president despite critiquing the Islamic republic and ayatollah. That’s what democracy gives you.
We want to replace this guy without democracy but by force and with the former shah/king of Iran’s son , a Potomac MD resident who hasn’t been to Tehran in 50 years. This guys own dad was ousted by the United States but he trusts the U.S. this time. Good luck.

Apparently, Dem members of Oversight committee have asked Clinton about trump and Epstein and Trump, who instructed Bondi to depose both Clintons, has said that he hates seeing Bill Clinton being deposed!
