Have you tried shoveling this? You can’t shovel 6 solid feet of ice. I went to our neighborhood bus stop, which has mounds of snow all around after the plows went thru and couldn’t make a dent even with a pickaxe. I used that boiling water and alcohol mix that everyone said would work. It didn’t. I put down ice melt. It’s just sitting there. I’m happy to help clean off the bus stop but I’m physically not able to do it. Hopefully things will get better tomorrow when it gets to the 30s. But if they want schools open Fairfax County needs to get public works crews to bus stops to make it happen

Yes, and I know where that anger will be directed, and it’s not at the people who actually have any power to change the calendar.
