You are deranged and clueless about "most neighborhoods". There is absolutely a need to shovel in most of the neighborhoods where I live. My neighborhood streets are used by walkers throughout the entire year.
If they are walking dogs or walking for pleasure, there is no need for elderly or middle aged people to risk their lives or health for walkers.
The snow will melt if you give it a minute. Geez.
This snow won't melt until mid February at best.
But temps will rise before then and people can probably better manage the ice. Right now, it’s impossible to move without special tools.
I mean, there’s a reason even DC is still a mess. ICYMI: a bunch of their equipment was damaged when they attempted to clear ice.
