OP here. I just wanted to say that to some of the people criticizing me, I did express my needs which is why the whole situation is so annoying. I clearly communicated what I wanted for my birthday and in a timely manner. I never gave my boyfriend the silent treatment. I just didn’t talk to him as much as usual after he said he didn’t know if he was busy. To me it was a sign he wasn’t that into me, so no reason to fall all over him anymore. And I was right since he never got back to me on the matter until the day of my birthday.

Lastly I didn’t play games on my birthday. I literally took a nap and responded to his text as soon as I saw it when I awoke.
