Agree, although sadly this has become the democrats’ playbook. It’s known as “identity politics” and it works by dividing Americans into identities. For example, they demand to know:

- what class are you?
- what income bracket are you?
- what race are you? (BIPOC or white? Or maybe “white-Latino” or “LatinX”?)
- which one of the 56 genders are you?
- which of the two colors is your home-state?
- what are your pronouns? (mine are )
- are you normal, or religious? (which religion are you?)

So tired of the constant divisiveness from the democrats. It’s exhausting.

Every other year? We haven't had a shutdown since Trump's prior term, when Trump declined to sign the budget that House and Senate had agreed on.

Before that one, the last shutdown was in 2013 when Rs tried to defund the ACA.

The one before that was in the 90s.

From President Regan.

Now, under Trump, it feels like the government is everywhere but has had zero interest in actually helping anyone, only further enriching the already wealthy and further harming those already under stress.

This is definitely agency specific. If you are at one of the bottom half of the sub agencies you will see slackers. I’m in a top agency and it’s like night and day.

I joined two bad agencies by accident (I was hired and didn’t know). The main thing I saw were long term feds who did nothing. They were hired a long time ago when you could just go downtown, take a test and get hired. And then they never left. Their managers just put up with them.

Please name a few "bottom half of the sub agencies" and a few "top agencies". I have no idea which agency is bottom and which is top.

Who has no sympathy for laid of private sector workers? I recall expanded UI benefits and stimulus for people who lost their jobs during COVID. I’ve seen tons of criticism online re: recent tech layoffs. There is tons of vitriol toward CEOs laying people off while collecting obscene salaries and bonuses. And at the very least I’ve never heard of anyone celebrating people in the private sector losing their jobs.

Meanwhile there has been plenty of frothing at the mouth over feds getting fired. It’s weird and is causing me to lose a lot of my empathy for others being treated this way.

I’m a former fed and I witnessed mainly hard working feds in my 8+ years at Commerce. Sure, there were a couple of bad apples but they were rare.

I think most feds are great. I do think that the transition to private sector could be hard depending on their role and length of service. But, they’ll manage.

I have never worked in the public sector. I don't spend my days worrying about Americans who work in other sectors. I wish everyone luck.

But the absolute hatred toward Fed workers is borderline psychotic if you want my honest opinion? Why is that? I just don't get it.

Long story short: they are losers.

Only losers are fixated on what other people are getting instead of moving forward in their own lives. They don't read, they watch TV segments. They don't know anything about the government but they have big feelings about it.

Only losers feed on angry propaganda about feds, "welfare queens," "illegals," etc. These are all the same people.

There are so, so many losers in America right now. They are miserable people who want everyone else to be miserable. We know what they support and who they vote for. They are willing to destroy the entire country just to punish all of the various groups of people they find unworthy of humane treatment. We still have to live with these people and they have a lot of power so I don't know how we move forward as a country.

Right. Only losers ignore the looting of public money.

Can you actually name one real example of the “looting” of public money, that is, looting not being done by Trump and his crypto cronies?

So you agree that you are doing the same as Trump and hence should be ignored.

What do you mean “you agree that you are doing the same as Trump?” Who do you think you are talking to? Trump is a con artist, criminal, and scammer, all words that would never be associated with me.

You can’t even name 1 example of waste, fraud, or abuse of federal funds?

Trump is the most moral noble and unselfish human being to every walk this earth. We should be really grateful that he is our president. Can you name one single example of anything he did wrong?

Name the agency. You don’t even work there anymore so why the blanket statement?
