There’s a NY Post article too celebrating Trump’s obnoxious dismissal of a CNN reporter’s question. Why no DCUM thread tearing him apart for it? It is a male vs. female thing.

My post sharing an article about how many interviews Trump has walked out of was deleted for some reason. Not sure what he gets to do that and no republican was screaming about how “damaging” this is going to be to the Republicans. And he’s won twice.
Oh, I know. Because women and democrats are help to a different standard.
If she were hot, and full of silicone and filler, republicans would find her behavior an aphrodisiac.

So why are you here if you're so above it all?
DP - I’m here for the comic relief. When I need a laugh or pick me up, I come here and imagine most you being just like Katie Porter.

She still is. Most DCUM posters are so far left they think Porters behavior is perfectly fine as long as she opposes Trump.

And I imagine people like you to be like Hegseth and Patel. So ignorant and arrogant, they don’t know how ignorant they are.

I watched the whole thing and shes getting frustrated because she doesnt want to cater to the Trump obsessions, Shes saying ask me the questions about my stance so the voters can make a decision based on me. Also, she clearly answered the question- in multiple ways, multiple times.
Regardless this is just her saying Im done with the antagonist approach. I would LOVE to see the "other" interviews to see if the reporter treated them the same.
There is a YouTube link on page five of this thread with all the interviews
I watched it. Its cut and edited.

Trump walked out of multiple interviews. He got the job twice.
Porter feels like she’s being played for some reason, says she’s going to leave, and says “THANK YOU” before she walks out (read the transcript), and “OH NO, what a &itch, she’s tanked her run!!!!!”
I don’t like how she reacted, but I like this double standard about men and women even less.
You cannot compare the two. Kavanaugh was falsely accused of gang rape. That tends to upset people.
Katie Porter was asked a question by a reporter.
Yes, I can. Both of them were in professional settings acting unprofessional, unable to control themselves, and entitled. Both of them showed poor judgment and self-control.
I can’t believe how many republicans make excuses for Kavenaugh’s abusive adolescent temperament while interviewing for one of the most important jobs in the world. Inexcusable.
Robert Meuller was falsely accused of sexual assault too and he acted an adult. Because he’s not an abuser with anger issues.
DP. This is an irrational take. Of course the gravity, setting and tenor of the question asked will impact the behavior of the person answering.
What this interview shows is that when (not if, in my opinion) bad information comes out about Porter and she’s in a Senate hearing, she will behave worse than Kavanaugh did, and that is a very low bar.
Her behavior here is indefensible and in a state where people are restless and angry with Democrats, that creates a vulnerability that should not exist.
