I mean, I think she’s a despicable human being generally … but I don’t see evidence of that in this clip, really. She shows her evil bearings in lots of these hearings, but this one? Eh …
@Sec_Noem shuts down barely comprehensible grandstanding from India-born Shri Thanedar
"I will consider your asking me to resign as an endorsement of my work."
Barely comprehensible? You people need to slather on the SPF 150, put on that 12" brim cowboy hat, and get out more. That southern Appalachia drawl is literally incomprehensible.
Indian-American Congressman Shri Thanedar has introduced the 'Keep STEM Graduates in America Act' to allow foreign students to stay on in the US after graduation. The bill aims to simplify the H-1B visa process and increase available visas. This move will benefit millions of foreign students, particularly Indian students.
please make sure all Democrats support this bill.
we need it to give jobs to US citizens. Shri told me this would happen. always believe Indians, they never lie.

Only liberal “Catholics’’ might agree.
The ones that read the Bible?
The Pope and his Priests only support immigrants because they are licking their chops to "minister" to vulnerable young men. If immigration was primarily a female phenomenon, or old people I suspect the Catholic leadership would be largely silent on the matter.
Isn't it weird how refugees tend to be men in their 20's while actual vulnerable people tend to stay home and stick things out?

"Someone who says I'm against abortion but is in favor of the death penalty is not really pro-life," Pope Leo said. "And someone who says I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I don't know if that's pro-life."
JD Vance just pointed out what’s happening on the ground in Louisiana after federal agents cracked down on illegal immigration in the area.
Construction sites that relied heavily on undocumented workers are suddenly seeing ZERO foreign laborers show up.
Result? Companies are finally hiring American workers and business owners are thrilled.
Louisiana construction boss:
“No immigrants want to come to work anymore… and honestly, it’s AMAZING.”
“I’ve gotten more job-seeker calls in the past week than in the last three months combined. Had 20 calls in a single day!”
When the illegal labor pool dries up, Americans flood in to fill the jobs. Who would’ve thought?

It would take someone being a supremely arrogant, pompous ass to think they know more about Catholic values than the Pope himself.

The MAGA split in the US Catholic church is going to be interesting.
If the Pope keeps it up I give it 6 months before someone in the Trump administration calls him leftist, communist, woke, enemy, or the like.
MAGA evangelicals don't really consider Catholics to be "Christian" in the way they are. It's not like they care what the highest Catholic cleric says.
True enough, but that’s what makes it funny … because Catholics are the only real Christians.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Rich American conservative Catholics are still trying to figure out how they will fit through the eye of a needle.
Pope Leo seems pretty intent on triggering them.
But he still takes their money. No issue with that. Ans as long as they still give $$$, they can still receive sacraments and participate in church life. So long as the spice, I mean, money, flows.
You don't need to give money to receive sacraments. It's kind to give, because there are a lot of programs that churches sponsor, and of course to support the clergy. But it isn't a quid pro quo.
