I do not like swearing from any coach and find it never is appropriate. You can get the same message across without using profanity, especially at kids. I coached for years and made a great effort never to swear at my players (and I definitely swear in real life). This is really disappointing to hear, especially if this is the coach I am thinking it is.

Same. Agreed.

For what it's worth, it doesn't sound like he was speaking to a player. Unfortunate that his emotions got the best of him, but he is a very beloved coach.

The swearing coach and the out of control rage parent (who got the game called early) were from separate games.

Swearing whatever, I don't care. Getting heated with other players or even coaches, that's fine to a degree.

Threatening a ref of a youth game to the point of them needing an escort? That's too far, full stop. That person needs to get checked. It's never that serious.

The parent made several very violent verbal threats against the ref. He didn’t just swear. This was in front of several kids, in front of the BA parents, and the ASA parents could also hear. There is video beyond the Veo, very clear video from the parent side. I was there. I’ve also seen the videos. Of course it was too far. How else do you need it explained?

So odd BA has zero on this game on their social media but plenty re the other ASA games….

Oh my. Say it isn't so.

Cursing at the other team. Totally appropriate and within the rules.

Don’t get me wrong 0-7 IS humiliating.

Careful. Results like that and soon they’ll start defending this by saying this is boutique language from a boutique coach at a boutique club.

what?

We all know how up tight those parents are. They have their kids living in a bubble.
