Republicans voted to significantly increase the debt with their tax cut earlier this year. Can you tell me how much money will be saved by firing federal employees? How did is it compare to the size of the deficit increase from the OBBB?

Agreed. They never did have a play. Supporting Obamacare premium hikes is a good idea, but in this case the best play is to let the Rs own the mess. Have Fetterman and 6 other senators who are not up for reelection vote for the CR and if the premiums go up, point to OBBBA. That pain is not going away and several vulnerable Rs know it.
