Trump shelves Chicago crackdown plans for now as advisers warn of legal headaches. (This one is for the hater last week.)
“Polls have shown that while voters broadly want to see reduced crime, many don’t necessarily think sending troops into cities would make them safer. Those optics could get worse if federal officials deploy troops into a city with Democrats who are fighting those efforts. And federalized troops cannot perform law enforcement activities, as it would be a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.”

Oopsie!—Trump Proposes Temporary Foreign Expertise Program.
“In a Sunday Truth Social post, Trump wrote that he wants foreign companies "to bring their people of expertise for a period of time to teach and train our people how to make these very unique and complex products, as they phase out of our Country, and back into their land." He did not specify the time frame or which visa would apply.

He continued: "I don't want to frighten off or disincentivize Investment into America by outside Countries or Companies," however, some economists and politicians, like Andrew Yang, have noted that Trump's changing tariffs policies have sparked "disinvesting."

ICE is in the surrounding town of Chicago because too many are spreading the lie that Trump TACO. In fact it’s worse because these smaller cities lack resources to protect immigrants or push back.

The other losses are good. Please be more mindful

Trump wanted to send troops, including the National Guard to Chicago, coming from other states like Texas. That is different than ICE. He TACOed on his wish to "reduce crime" in Chicago through troop deployment.
