I’m Jewish and got into observing Shabbat sometimes at services sometimes just having Shabbat dinner ready for the family when we used to be home on Fridays. I too feel the same sentiment as you since I’m the only Jew in the office. I don’t want to be a target but it would be nice to have that back again.

Because it is reflected on the timesheet. We have to affirmatively enter that we’re at our official duty station. The more you post the more it becomes clear you have zero knowledge of federal employment.

This was my first post on this thread. I am a federal employee. We do not certify our location at my agency.

It's not location, it's telework specifically, and every executive branch agency tracks it because it's required.

Mine does not.

There are a million great reasons to telework, parenting, eldercare, volunteering, practicing a religion, exercise. I think it is crazy that the government (which is supposed to be areligious) is doing this! That said, I am glad for my colleagues that can now fulfill religious commitments. I think the Muslims need it the most. I am Jewish and yeah sure it would be nice to have more time before dinner on Fridays but it is not like I can not get there. It would be nice to have more time everyday. We are always heading out night.

Your co-workers will hate someone and it won't be you, it will be the people that unilaterally revoked TW.

I’m a parent of two little kids that has a long commute and is so physically and mentally drained from RTO and so so so sad that I see my kids less.
That being said, f*** RTO and this admin. Not sure how upper management and beyond will use this information, but as a fellow parent coworker I would 10000% be supportive (maybe a bit jealous) but not resentful.
