Agreed, the Nepo baby has to work that much harder for validation. These girls recognize what they've got, work their tails off both on and off the field and are amazing people. Leave them alone.

Ohh my OP you really got from this article that a girl from this area "trains with a top pro team in france" yikes

Life is good for the wealthy and well connected. They give their kids great opportunities to achieve and pursue their dreams. Isn’t that what we all want too?

See. The problem with being a nepo is that you really never get validated by the society no matter how hard you try unfortunately. It is what it is. If you are a hardworking person on the other hand, you get that validation even if you fail some times trying. I would take the hard work path any day.

I hope a coach from a top program calls my kid out of the blue and offers them a spot!

Lol. Work harder, poors. Maybe then you can have a pretend spot on the team, and then a pretend job with the family business.

Sounds like they are ok with the attention with these articles.

This. Why are people being so rude about this family. They’ve been a Duke family for over 30 years. Their girls play soccer and are dedicated.

She played 45 minutes this year. The whole family combined for a whopping 105 minutes.

The social media blitz has begun yet again.

Where do they find the players for DC Power? There seems to be no process involved to how any of these players are found and signed. Totally random?

The kids club or college coaches call the USL coach. Or they get cut from NWSL and try to find a USL team. All you really have to show is interest. Most of the USL players were off the bench at sub tier colleges.

Some were actually very good college players, to be fair. Maybe not many but some were.

Not good enough for pro teams. They are average at best.

They were all good college players. They were all really good youth players too. The pyramid gets smaller as you progress in levels.

I love the ignorance of DCUM.

All of this. And the guy/woman who says his 12 year old is a better player than these women. Bless their heart.

Sounds like the only heart needing blessing is yours, as it seems you are ignorant to the fact that a bunch of 15 year olds beat the women world champs a few years ago. LOL
